Hey everyone...hope someone here can help me cause I'm stumped. My crown royale lady is not looking too good and I'm not sure what is wrong. My 1st thought was spider mites but after a close look on the digi scope I was not able too see any movement. Also no sings of webbing! I would also like 2 mention that I already have 2 no pest strips in the tent and have since the start of the grow.. I tried to compare with the grow easy Web site but I'm still stumped. Any help would be appreciated. .
Cheers
JT

Hey JT :toke:-- ...this is some weird looking damage alright,... a favor please, reshoot the leaf upper surface one... it looks very much like thrip damage, but the underside shots with the damaged main stem and the nasty looking circular pitting is new to my eyes,... there are many types of thrips, so it still could be them, but I've never seen the tougher stem tissue get hammered like that... often, thrips leave the scene of the crime, leaving only their poops and damages behind,.... the stem attacks hint that something bigger, with more powerful piercing mouth parts is mugging around...but is just as mobile,... dine and shine if you will! :cuss: .... I see little glassy sphere's around, which might be eggs-? Or globs of self-defense goo exuded by the plant from the cystoliths,... lay out a sticky trap if you can, maybe you can snag one of the bastards, and help with ID confirmation,... meantime, Ima go tug on a couple sleeves here,...

Hi waira. .Thanks for the help. I was kinda hoping it wasn't a pest issue. Damn...but I do have 3 other ladies in my tent that have not been affected at all. That's what made me think nute issues. Also like I mentioned I have had 2 no pest strips in the grow tent since the start of the grow..I will post another pic shortly. I will grab some sticky traps and see if I can catch something. .

Afternoon JT, you have an unusual situation there. I will look again after you post the new pictures Waira requested.

Waira, I think those sunken areas might have been caused by some insect laying eggs under the surface of the stems. Those little white things close by could be a shed for whatever hatched, crawled out of the stem leaving those sunken areas. They just look too consistent in size and spacing for typical chewing damage. I will try and do some searches. JT, can you provide any clue as to what part of the world you are growing? PM me if you don't want to post on the open forum

Hope the new pics can provide additional clues
