Problem: Leaves darken, spotty and some tips seem to be lightening

Medium/grow method: FFOF

Feed: and supplements used: Just water for first 3 weeks(water every other day about 1/3 of a Gallon) week 3 to 7 water mixed with BioThrive grow from General Organics(watered every other day with 1/3 gallon of water mixed 2-3 teaspoons/gallon. just started week 8 and i have switched to Biotrive Bloom. water every other day 1/3 gallon of water mixed with 2-3 teaspoons/gallon

water source: it was using tap water till just this week my local hydroponic store told me to switch to spring water

Strain/age:White widow Auto

light used: CFL X6 26W each about 4" from top (growing in a 5gal bucket with intake fan and exhaust fan)

Climate: i got lazy here haven't kept track but i know its been to cold around 70.also haven't kept track to humidity




Any info would help. as you can see i'm a newbie

I think when you switched to spring water, you are not getting enough Ca. When using RO, DI, spring and other purified waters, you have to increase micronutrients especially Ca and Mg. The filtered water has very little.
 
.... I think some P defc. is acting up as well,... P and Ca defc.'s can have some symptom overlap, but these broader necrotic patches look more P defc. related,... if you're using bloom now, give it a few days and see if the symptoms slow and halt progression,...
