I talked to him via email to pick that strain out, he told me 12/12 in that email. The instructions that came with the seeds say 18/6. I'll take a look at those threads, thanks for the heads up!

I hate to see people getting sucked in with those Iranian Autoflowers. They are really just a fast flowering regular strain and not a true autoflower. They are more similar to a super auto than a dwarf strain and best suited for outdoor growing. That's why the 12/12 was recommended, there's a good chance they won't flower under anything higher.

Regarding the Better Gro nutes. They are okay to use in situations where nothing else is available. I've gotten descent results from them but if you can get something made specifically for growing weed, I would recommend that over the Better Gro. They are strong so go easy with them. And make sure you give the plants a good flush before harvest.

Thanks Muddy, I wasn't originally targeting an autoflower strain, I just asked the guy what the easiest most idiot-proof plant would be for a single pot operation and that's what he recommended, so I guess it wasn't really a false pretense, just uninformed consumerism on my part.

I'm gonna swing by a local hydro shop this weekend and see if I can't get squared away with some good stuff...I'm in no rush to get started and I'd like to at least talk to these folks before I pull the pin. One of the guys at the local garden shop recommended them to me with a wink and a nudge, said he got all his "pepper" and "orchid" growing supplies from them. Funny how many 19 year olds grow orchids around here...
