New Grower Slow Growth but Healthy

Hi all, my little ladies are coming along nicely, but very sloooow. Sorry no pics, but I'm on nearly 60 days, and the ladies are only about 4-6 inches tall??? developing well, nice leaves, strong stem and branching, new leaves popping out all over.
I started under a very small T5, went to a bigger T5 but I think it's still too small?
If I could go to some nice 400+ HPS/MH lights would that solve my growth and time issue?? Thanks!

4 to 6 inches at 60 days is really small.You didn't say what strain or nutes you have so I can't really say why they are so small. Send pics if you can.

A 400W HID would def make them grow bigger. This is one of mine at almost 3 weeks old under a 400w.

You will notice a big difference if you can go to a 400w hps Emeraldgreen and welcome to the forum , heres a pic of mine at 57days under a 400w HPS

Dex, Wow, just WOW!!! Man, I'm soooo jealous, and sooo going to the grow shop, I'm done with T5's, maybe just for germ/sprout only? Are your girls in 5L containers? and did you do a SOG or is that literally just one girl?

Hi namvet25, I'm trying some seeds a "friend" gave me. Disel Low Rider, and some Lemon Haze from Attitude. Now the seeds from my "friend" also came with the advice that I could just throw them under T5's and they'll grow great, no need for big lights, which I have found IS true, I mean they will grow but, as I'm seeing more and more, HPS is still the way to go. Hopefully I don't make any DIE HARD T5 fans upset? I'm a little jumpy about posting pics, but it looks like a lot of folks do? As for NUTES, one of the guys at the grow shop comped me Harvest Moon Organics, I like the idea of keeping it organic. And I recently found out that Fox Farm lost it's OMRI listing? So I'm using the #4 mix, light nutes, every other water, and just plain PH'ed water. I looked in on my liitle laies this morning and they are branching and leafing out nicely, It's just like they are little bonzi's aboput 6 in. tall. I'm sure at this rate I'll have nothing to show come harvest time, but it is my first grow so??

Hi kushaddict, Wow, nice for only 3wks, I'm definitly investing in better lights. It looks like you have the 1.5-2 gal containers? How does your yield work out with those? That's what I have my girls in, but I'm reading and seeing that 5L or 5Gal. is better for bigger, higher yielding plants?
