Smell during curing

I’ve just started curing my Dosi Face and Blue Dream autos. The thing is, when I take the lids off the jars, the smell is not a pleasant cannabis-smell at all. Not an ammonia smell either, but a chemical-type smell.
Is this normal at the early stages of curing?

Yeah @Ricardo77 .... ..I think it is.... smell changes as they mature.

Venting a bad smell during curing should mean you're getting rid of it. Part of curing is venting off undesirable plant cell breakdown products.

You're right. The small has mellowed..!
