So any advice my girls are 36 days old

It's the one that came with my tent kit
200W full-spectrum grow light with Samsung LM301B LEDs. that's all it says thanks for taking the time to help me!
I think your plants look good, especially for your first go. If your temps are that high you may run into issues in flower.

It is true that having a driver you can put outside the tent is beneficial, but you don’t have that option. Bear in mind that even with the driver outside the tent, LED diodes do still put out a decent amount of heat.

I normally run my lights off during the hottest part of the day and on during the coolest. So they run from 6PM until noon. It gets hot AF where I live.

That’s not really an option for you this run. But you probably want to cool the tent somehow. Do you have AC? And does your exhaust fan have a temperature setting to kick on at a certain temperature?

My setup the exhaust fan comes on and runs faster as the heat or humidity increases. I run my lights on at 1pm and of at 7pmll. I'm doing everything that I can to make the best of it! I'm learning every day! And people here like you are guiding me along the way. Tomorrow will be my nutes day I'll post pictures Sunday.

Have you put a hygrometer or thermometer inside to see if it reads different? Maybe its the probe. This thread has had me curious from the get go lol

It's not that unusual to see temps that high this time of year depending on where he lives. I don't think he mentioned that.

In our old place this time of year in Los Angeles, even with the driver outside the tent, I saw temps hit 97F a couple times during lights on. It really sucked. Generally you'll see the plants get a little stunted, foxtailing and lower buds will be airier than I like.

I don't think I saw lights off temps that extreme though. But growing this time of year can really suck. Seems even harder to get a handle on it in a smaller tent too. YMMV.

If you're running lights on at 1PM and off at 7AM then that 12PM-6PM time slot I have found is the worst. At least where I live. So that is when my lights are off.

I've got a better handle on it in the new place here. Same schedule, but my temps max out at 82F now which I can live with and not have to run the AC like crazy, But we do have central AC here.

One thing I have found is that assuming your exhaust fan is large enough to make a difference, you can run it a little slower to give the (hopefully) cooler air outside the tent some time to actually make a difference in the tent. If you're just sucking air right in and out at the highest possible speed, it doesn't have the time to cool the tent. I run my Infinity exhaust at 4 now.

Or, if you have a temp trigger on your exhaust, set it at 82F to kick in to draw in cool air to cool it down.

I usually size my fan one size larger than the needed size. So for a 4x2, theoretically the needed size would be a 4" fan. I use a 6". In my 4x4 I use an 8".

If all else fails, then it's best to look at the VPD chart posted and get your humidity up to match your temps. Still not ideal. But only so much you can do I suppose.

Your plants are growing fine and you have exhausted all options to try to lower your temps so dont worry about it. They are growing great and your not seeing any stunting or slow growth! Your succeeding 100% just focus on feeding and watering your girls and get pumped up for your yield your about to get! Good job man!

My light cycle is on at 7pm and off at 1pm at this stage in there life 42 days. I'm watering them just about every day or other day. And feeding nutes every other watering. The pots get dry and light so fast. I'll update my journal tomorrow and post pictures then. Thanks again y'all for your input/advice!

I hear you, I’ve just been tripping since he said one day it was 80° outside and 86° inside his tent with the lights off while having a fan blowing on the dryer. Just seemed strange.

My shop heats up to hotter than it is outside it might be 85 in my shop from heating up during the day and in the afternoon or evening it's cooler outside than I'm my shop. I have no AC on the shop so with high temps in the shop then my tent is hotter than that. it's been cooling down in the 70's at night and I don't think I've seen under around 77 in the tent.

I used to grow in my uninsulated garage/print shop at the old place. So I get it. I had to shut down in the summers out there. Or just grow outside. I had a tent indoors also, and that would get hot AF at times too. We have mainly stucco building/houses here and they hold in the heat from the day and then radiate it indoors. Like a fucking oven.

New place, I cannot run the 4x4 in the new shop. Absolutely no way to vent out, and it's literally ON the street. I'm legal here but don't like my neighbors deep up in me.

I had to do a couple test runs in the 4x2 inside. And I'll run the 4x4 all fall. Summer kinda sucks for growing IMHO.

Anyway, do what you gotta do. FYI - if you're in a dry climate a good sized swamp cooler helps a LOT and will add humidity to the air. Much cheaper to run than an AC. Good luck.

I went hillbilly style to temporarily direct cool air to the screen intake on the bottom of the tent. I just removed the flap on an exterior dryer vent because the angle on the cap is perfect and aims right at it. We go through temp fluctuations here as it could be 68 today and 82 tomorrow up to 90 for 4 days then back to 70 lol same with humid levels so this is a quick fix when needed and works great.
