I am interested in making my own water/AACT only soil. So far I have the following:

Base, all 15L bags for a total of 45L/1.5 cubic feet:
1/3 peat moss
1/3 aeration (rice hulls, pumice, vermiculite)
1/3 earth worm castings

Amendments:
1 cup alfalfa meal
1 cup bone & blood meal
1/2 cup kelp meal
2 cups glacial rock dust

Extras:
Molasses, malted barley, and earth worm castings for AACT.

I have access to greensand, dolomite lime, and Epsom salt if needed. I have read both people who suggest all and some who swear by none.

I am in the middle of my first grow but the mixing of the nutrients just doesn't seem right to me. I'll complete the grow I have going this way, but would like to switch over for my next grow (about a month away).

I'm not sure on my quantities being exact for the amendments, as I based them off various soils.

If someone could help me out with my recipe and cooking time, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey smokie, welcome to AFN my friend. There are several good recipes here, @Eyes on Fire has a good one he uses, I have a recipe in my organics thread I have been using a couple of years now. There is a lot of good info in both our threads so read through them and if you still need some help give one of us a shout. Both of us are always helping people start their first true soil.

Welcome to the organic neighborhood lol. I'm kind of at that stage too. Just figuring out the quantities of ammendments... Plenty of good advice around here. Your welcome to check out my thread.

Thank you. :)

These are basically the only ingredients I can get. I've read through quite a few threads, jotted down a ton of notes, and this is what I've got.

I haven't found a tried and trusted soil recipe yet that only includes things I have access to, unfortunately.
