ok let me give a little history before I ask my questions. I have been growing in jiffy organic seed starting soil and feeding Alaska fish emulsion for veg and miracle gro liquid quick start and molasses for flowering and I got my water from the water refill machine at Walmart didn't ph it just watered and I have had good success with this so my questions are 1 can I add worm castings and organic compost to this? 2 what else can I add? 3 how much do I add? 4 do I need to let it cook ? Please any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

well, to be honest there happens to be a lot you can do to that mix and combo of feeding. but it depends on how esy you want your grow, involvement and what your final thoughts on your final goal happens to be? make yourself from scratch or but an existing recipe/Mix and work it through to future.either way,LOTS of thing can be done.

Well I would like to keep it fairly easy add a few things to make it a little better I plan on taking 6 12 qt bags and adding 4lbs worm castings should I add more? And what kind of compost can I add to this? And should I let it cook?

well, if your using a miracle grow quick pack of most anything quick MG anything its a hard chem and tamps growth and activity in an alive soil or most any living component imo. so to use the same type of feed system throughout is going to kill your soil and/or plant depending. while if it does work its an ending cycle that will coast WAY too much replacing and rinsing the damn soil and replacing n yadda yadda n so on n so forth..so thats why I ask HOW much from your current grow do you want...doing away with MG stuffs is ok? I mean there are tons of questions I need clarification on to really continue dude.thats all I ment by my former query. so fully living sustainable mix (simplified I know) is your goal from scratch? OR you want to throw in an extra item or three and ultimately throw more money away..so thats why Im not sure how to approach your question dude.thats all man.

Yes I'm more than willing to give up the MG if I need to switch nutrients I will I just need to be able to use the jiffy organic seed starting soil as I have several bags of this already

dude,if your only looking to use a different nute program man, just use the bio bizz,LOTS of ppl like those a lot and Ive seen some lovely grows from it too. but jiffy(peat based) seedling is great to add to a heavy bagged soil like dr earth for example so imo i would one,use a soil with your seedling miux although i would rather see you use coco over time once the peat mix is used.but a bag of soil a bag of your seedling stuff and either perlite and/or coco to texture.10LBs of casting per roughly 10-12 gallons of soil(already mixed with seedling and soil n things)..

add a cup of lime to 25 gallons or 30 gallons of soil or half cup of sweet lime and 2/3 cup of pellet lime and mix well and water your bio bizz and some cal mag n molasses is prolly all your gonna need man.it'll be somewhat able to be recycled some once rinsed and grown with properly with simple rinsing not flushing of soil.and thats alll there is to that man. now if you wanna go with teas and a living simplified mix you'll have to buy a few items like bone meal either blood meal ,cottonseed or feather meal.combo or cotton or feather AND blood is ideal. but you lemme know man.
