Ok so I been pondering on a thought, so here it is. If you Gorilla grow then you normally dig your plot compost it wait till spring then plant and majority of the time extra nutrient isn’t needed, why can’t you do this in pots? My only conclusion is the pots are to ristricting and the roots end up using all the feed. Am I right? is there a way to make like a raised bed and use that on a indoor grow to eliminate costly nutrient someone fill me in please

Outdoor ground grown plants suffer from nutrition deficiency as well as potted plants. I know that first hand. But yes, mother nature can and does renew certain nutrition in soil outside vs a pot in a tent. But outside has to contest with all the bullshit the outdoors offers... weather extremes, bugs, and others. I had to add calmag to my outdoor ground plants, but then again it wasn’t a gorilla grow.

Ok mate ,

Bloody hell mate , you have opened a can of worms here , -- Gorilla grow -- compost -- yes you can . Will you get the best out of the strain - N0 - You will get a return , But in saying that if you feed the soil you will be better off , There are some very experienced Gorilla growers here and most spend there time on there in ground soil before they start . --- My only conclusion is the pots are to restricting -- Understanding root systems and pot size helps you to have not restricted the root size -- No trust me on this . I may be wrong here , but I feel you are new to this . You are only scraping the edges , There is no short cuts , ---- Understand your soil -- understand the nutrients and what they do . I could tell you to go and get this or use this soil , but you have to learn yourself , and your environment that you grow in . They all add up , there is no parts but a whole .

You are more than welcome to bug me . I did to @Eyes on Fire

Ok well I’m not completely new but I have only ever grown in soil pots I did my research and this is what I got. Gorilla grow dig your plot bed the bottom with compost (my soil is quite Claysom) so I heard nutrition won’t be a problem. If you have different soil you may need to add some slow releasing nutres in your soil, turn it’s over a good few times before winter, let the frost get in there and plant in spring mulch the top soil and your done. My conclusion as to why you can’t do it in pots wasn’t exactly that the roots get “bound” more so that there isn’t enough soil mass to satisfy the plant without additional nutrient. But anyway back to the main subject is there not a way to make a deep flowers bed say 0.4m deep 2.4m wide 1.2m length to mimic this environment so there isn’t a need for additional muted or maybe a small amount of organic nutrient added to it say in flower?
