Hi guys!

The skeptical pig got me started thinking about my LED experiments I want to try.

Can anyone point me to scientific journal articles about cannibis photosynthetic absorption spectrums? And especially how they relate to cannabinoid production.

I'm planning on running some tests using cloned individual plants grown under single spectrum lighting-- 425nm, 450nm, 620nm, and 670nm.

I just finished a design of a small LED fixture for horticultural lighting, and there is a very broad available spectrum of LEDs available--- but efficiency reasons, I would like to keep the usable spectrum as narrow as possible.

The 670nm LEDs produce the most light for the energy input (about 48% efficient). Deep blues (425nm) are the least efficient light producers, but from my research, chlorophyll absorbes blue a little more readily than red.

Any insight and assistance would be welcome!
