Hey guys,

Growing some mephisto cosmic queen on soil and after watering last night I noticed some spots on one of my plants. I'm about a week into flower right now. I've done some light 1/4 strength nutes to this plant but the last watering was plan PH 6.4 water out of the tap. The rest of the plant looks good, but the two big fans have some discoloration. My last grow had PH issues so I'm trying to keep a good check on it this go around. So I'd like to try to nip this in the bud before I make it worse. Thoughts on it? Can post more pics if needed. Thanks for the helps dudes!

what kind of soil and what is your feed and water schedule and with what nutes

Running fox farm ocean forest but some of the soil was reused from a 2-3w plant I decided to get rid of due to me neglecting it. Nutes, fox farm trio at 1/4 strength which I started about a week ago. It had been fed three days prior. Last feeding was the first time it got all three in the trio. Before that it was mostly grow big and big bloom. I'd say it gets watered every 3 days or so. That's about how long it takes for it to get light.

Dont let your plants get light try and keep them an even moisture.. And they likely are just hungry being in early flower... if they are missing anything they let you know... Letting the soil dry out is counterproductive. Dont do it. Tap water or spring water? Do you have pics of the whole plant so we can see how big it is?

Thanks for the advice, I'll make sure to feed next time. Do you think it's better to feed at a low concentration like 1/4 strength every feeding or alternate feed water feed etc...

I dont use bottled nutes.. But imo at this stage if the plant has any size to it, its going to need more than 1/4 strength ff trio.. But cant be sure without better pics.. it just looks like a little calcium deficiency at this point... and maybe underwatering. Fox farm soil like any organic soil depends on microbial activity to supply nutrients for the 4 weeks they say you can go before needing food... If youre constantly letting the soil dry out, it cant break down properly and provide much of anything and that throws everything out of whack..

Next time or even right now if possible, buy some buildaflower from buildasoil.com and top dress with it.. will keep your plant much happier than just bottled nutes

Calcium deficiency is what crossed my mind as well. I'll keep an eye on it and look to feed tomorrow "morning" when the lights come. I've considered doing coco next grow, we'll see. Soil is also great though.
