HELLO EVERYBODY,

Just a question to every body.

am I doing myself a dis service by starting my seeds directly outside.

im looking to get the most out of my grows and am noticing my plants seem to be a bit leggy? or it could just be me?
here is the link to my current run https://www.autoflower.org/index.php?threads/outdoor-mephisto-grow.43049/
I usually just drop the bean in the pot set her where I grow them and let it go but could I maximize my grows if I start the seeds indoor possibly under something artificial or in a window?

just hope I haven't been stunting my plants by doing what I have been doing any input would be greatly appreciated

I think the best way to achieve full potential w/ an outside grow they should be started inside for 3-4 weeks ... about as long as it takes for them to develop into little bushes ... by rigorous LST and the proper light schedule you can have a real nice plant at the end of 3 weeks ... then they need the maximum amount of sun that they can get ... also I would suggest planting them in one of the air pruning fabric pots that can be planted in the ground along w/ the plant when it's time to go outside ... here's a link you may find useful ... it's to a grow I started inside to move outside about this time last year ...

Thanks Chester I am growing I the fabric pots already and my soil here is practically shit lots of clay and sand so I keep them in containers

When planting outdoors in crap soil I like to treat the ground like it's a pot ... I dig a hole about 3-4 gallons in size and fill it w/ potting soil ... I think roots are happier in the ground rather than in a pot ... a lot harder to relocate than a pot ...
:pass:

Haha very true I do like the option to move if possibly it is my backyard. But never know when certain people come over lol
