Starting out II

Pro mix soil, no guys, my seedlings usually come up and their first set of leaves stretch all the way across a 3 gal pot, these lately are maybe an inch total across, and they just set there doing nothing
Well those were very unusual results you were having. Most seedlings look like they are not doing anything because it is happening below the soil line. When I grow in coco and soil, I do not expect to see much of anything until week two or three. You are going to have to be patient and see what happens.

Opie- what breeder and strain are the seeds? Do you still have the original packaging? If so, there may be a lot # and batch date, to see how old they are,...What are the germ'ing temps? Have you double checked the soil pH? How are you germ'ing them? ...as mentioned, auto seedling tend to build below ground the first 10 days or so, and have 2nd set of true leaves just getting going,...

It might be light height. I have had many a grower have terrible results from having the light a foot away. My personal preference is to start day one at a foot away. After the first day it breaks the soil line, I bring it two inches closer a day until it is within 6 inches. Then for the rest of the grow I keep it in that zone. The only time I deviate is the first week of bloom. I take the light up by a foot or so. This distance is kept for a week to stimulate a stretch to begin. Then right back down and close.

You guys could be right, maybe just impatient, but earlier grows my plants were pretty much stretching all the way across the pots by 10 to 12 day's, a few were DP seeds, a few were Auto Seeds, I have a couple that just popped the soil so I'll hang on and give more time, thanks guys!
P.S. anyone out there have any beans to trade on?

What kind of light might that be? Cfl?

@turtle360, that has been LED panels. I have used CFLs and did not like them anywhere as much as the LED. HID lights do not interest me.
