I don't see where you get the idea its an N defiencey. His leaves are dark green, not yellowed or burnt. No lower leaves yellowed to indicate younger leaves stealing the N. Dsrk green nand curling tips, looks like a copper defiency to me me or possibly N toxicity.

Seems to me his pic looks like this one:

I'm a little confused, isn't the general consensus that it is N tox?

- what were you treating with for spider mites?
Waira, I was treating them with several different Organic Sprays, obviously not at once, but each time I sprayed , I used a different product, Spinosad (sp?) Neem Oil, Azamax, and a product named Organicide. The last two times I sprayed, with a 7 day interval between spraying, I used Organicide, due to the fact that I was out of Neem Oil, and the hydro stores were closed. I saw this product at Home Depot, and thought great, this sounds like an excellent product. Shit, this may be a BIG contributor or the real culprit, to not just the N tox. but also to burning of the leaves. I just now looked up what exactly the ingredients are composed of:
sesame oil...5.00%
edible fish oil...92.00%..... Can you say Foiliar Feeding with MORE N?
lecithin.....3.00%

The issues with ALL of my plants did not show up until after I sprayed all of my plants, in different stages of growth, different growing mediums and in different growing environments with this product the second time, should have put 2 and 2 together then. But, still believe flushing with a mild nutrient mix without any N was still necessary.

Didn't get home until 8:00 p.m. last night, but went ahead and flushed all of my plants that are in early to mid flower. Didn't get done until 1:00 a.m. this morning.

Looks like I had better spray all of my plants with PHed water now as well, to wash off any residue of this product.

Thanks again, for all of your help everyone!

Peace!

Experience is certainly my best teacher.... must have such a hard head from all the times I fell on it as a tradesman. LOL

So glad I came back to AFN though, so many great and knowledgeable folks on here!

Peace.

:slaps: Stick, the Organicide-- dubious! ...just ask Rebel what happened when he tried a product that was based on some of these plant based oils!! (not sure which product/oils, though),.... he had a few beautiful blooming girls that were wiped out in a couple days!...same symptoms,.. leaves going green-dry, or if they lasted long enough, yellowed/browned out very rapidly,... Huh, damn...the more I think about it, I'm with you on making this spray a prime suspect-- Glad I asked! It's the only thing that fits why plants with diff. soils and such were affected! Seems some leaves can take it, others can't-- borderline tolerance,... seen this in my orchids and house plants too!...shitf*ckpiss, Stickfriend,... I really think this is the ultimate culprit.... :cuss: :help: see what I mean about symptom overlaps? Here we have completely defc./tox. unrelated symptoms, looking much like them regardless,... but down that road we charged,... diagnostic TARFU- :roflcry:
... about the death sprays: The Azamax kicked ass on spider mites on my orchids,... it is, after all, a derivative of Neem,.... The spinosad stuff may not be very effective on mites; some scientific articles I've read mentioned relatively low activity on them,...even though it's listed on some product labels-- :dunno:.... and it makes some sense too, as mites are not insects (significant physiological diff's), and spinosad in not that broad spectrum of a killer,... worked my thrips over hard, though! :ama: *** looked at my Monterey Gardens brand conc.-- spider mites are listed, but not effective on eggs, so retreating is necessary,...not rec'ed for heavy infestations either,... :check: Sooo, a rinsey-poo is called for,... maybe include some water spreader to help lift shit off of the leaves,... :goodluck:

Sooo, a rinsey-poo is called for,... maybe include some water spreader to help lift shit off of the leaves,...
Waira, thanks for the heads up on using a surfactant to help lift the residue off of the leaves. I always use it for FF, and insecticides, but would not of thought about using with straight water. Now that you mention it, seems like common sense.

Also was not aware that spinosad was potentially fairly ineffective against the little leaf sucking arachnids. Thanks again for that as well.

Yea, there are some of the girls that may already be somewhat of a loss, but I will still hit them with water and see, including what was/ is a nice White Widow pheno, a Bubba Kush x F99, and a Blueberry x GDP. Have another WW pheno that is 4 weeks into flower, that isn't all that nice of a pheno. Think I will just scrap her now, and replace her with some other girls I just flipped that are under T5s. Also have a very nice MOB x GDP that I wanted to let go longer, to amber up completely. She's cloudy with a hint of ambering going on. Started flushing her last night. Still should be some very decent meds.

Fortunately a VERY nice (Cherry) Slyder x Deep Chunk pheno was not affected, and is ready to come down. Wish you could smell her. VERY Cherry smelling with red and nicely frosted flowers.

As always, thank you for your expertise my friend.

...yeah, I'm of two minds about the spinosad and SM's,...it's killing power is suspect..!
...ooooh-ho-hooo!! MoBxGDP- bomb-city flavah potential there,... BUT that pales to the Cherry S' cross! OMF'ingG, :bone: I got a sample of the Detroit Lean last season, and the cherry aromatics were unlike anything I've ever had before,...had lots of "cherry" name-claims on several strains, but none were even close to DL! Sounds like your cross is favoring the right parent-side,... you're positively killin' me! :roflcry:
