Lighting Stone Dragon under GN MS0006 grow box coco by Rebelroy

Hi guys Hop digity

well..i figured it was time to try something new and exciting after my last 2 (and first) grows. That was under HPS and in a whole closet..

THIS TIME... i`l be trying to handle a homemade grow box with my new toy from GrowNorthern, MS0006 :

The box is 55 x 40 x105 cm.

I dropped one stone dragon in a glass of water on Friday 8 nov.

Saturday i prepared my pots. its 5.5 L pot and i drilled holes around the top of it..for later LST :High 5: using Coco canna pro + i think it was called ^^

worth mentioning is that at the bottom of my pot i have this sort of roundt stones...to make drainage easier..dont know the word for them..but they look like this

they cover like 3-4 cm.. (only to cover the drainage holes at the bottom of my pot) i plan to put this on top of my coco after a while aswell..but i want the lady to get herself up alittle befor i do that. this is simple to make the water go more even through the coco.

i washed the coco well with lots of water... sat her in the shower and pumped on ^^

then i made a whole ..like 1,5 - 2 cm down and covered lightly with coco over to shade her from the light. straight in my cab. 24 H light with 2 modules going.

2 days later, on monday, she showed herself above ground

she is on day 3 today. not much dif only abit taler.

my light is around 40 -45 cm away with 2 modules going..

PLZ feel free to spit in with anything...i`l be happy to have help/trick//tip along the way...this is all very new to me :stylez rasta smoke:

oh ye...

I`l be using Canna coco A+B like last time.. but i`l also going for a bottle of cal/mag and some ph up/down

LST will be a must in that cab is my toughts...so, i brought rope :Cool:

and yupp...Reb got himself a PH meter for this run :brow: lol )

Are those from RCMC?
Just a heads up, brother, SD are regular beans (male and female) and I’d drop more to increase the chance for girls. Your cab is small but you can fit more plants till sex (3 weeks) or do a multi pot
It’s very frustrating when your plant turns male and you have to start over.
In this cab LST is your friend - SD handles it very well but make sure to provide good airflow

hi bud. yes they are and i kinda tought over that yesterday myself...i didnt noteice the "regular" after the name...

maybe i should preper one more pot with 2 seeds in...to try that aswell ^^ i think i`l try that )

about the airflow... i got intake and outtake fans ..planning to get a small sirculation fan in there when needed...

Yes, bro, I would put 3 in a pot.
I have found out that SD grows best when started in final pot under 18/6 from start.
Here is a feeding/watering info for Dragons in coco.
I prefer to start big multi-pots - 11, 15 or 20 litters. Bigger pots, bigger autos, slower dry out.
First I soak the coco with root stimulators and I don’t water the first week but sprinkle with pipette/syringe to keep the top layer around stems slightly moist. The risk to drown/stunt your babies first week is very big if you flood them. First 3 weeks they focus its energy on roots development so it’s good to stimulate roots to search for food. Once you have developed roots stretching out of the bottom you can start feeding daily.
First 12-14 days only root stimulators and vitamins. At day 12-14 I usually give 1/3 veg nutes and leave them to dry a bit (1-2 days). At that time males start to show their balls and you can just kill them but Do not rip them off - just cut them at the base of the stem. Once you have dead roots it is time to start feeding enzymes and keep on veg nutes but don't push N much, there are phenos that are N sensitive. You need to keep more attention on Cal/Mg. I usually give veg nutes till day 40/42 and then start bloom for 3-4 weeks. It depends on the nutes though. When I used Hesi I fed full strength what vendor instructions says but now with AN I fried some seedlings - strong stuff.
I keep Ph 5.8-5.9.
You may take a look at Stunted's stress test of SDs to see how much abuse they can handle on coco when flooded daily.

Starting in party cups or small pots is not recommended - I have done it and they just can’t show their potential if roots are restricted from the beginning :no:

Now I noticed your light is 45 cm above which means you may not need to LST - it will keep the internodes short.

yupp..i dropped in 2 more seeds in a glass of water last night.. gonna prepear another pot for them tonight.. so i got a higher chance of finding a girl on my way :thumbs:

in the beginning now i have run 24 h light , was thinking of switching to 20/4 now the seedlings are up. but if you think 18/6 will do me better...why not give it a try )

when it comes to my neuts.. coco canna a+b i dont have to think about veg and bloom, as its a all in one neuts ...(almost to easy, huh?, lol ^^ )
