Do I run autos next orrrr try sweet seeds 6 week flower photos. Reason is I plan to make a dark area if I choose the photos and manually move plants from dark to the tent....leave my light on 24/7 and basically double my potential yield.

Anyone grown photos before how long do you veg for normally?

I was thinking too veg 18 plants for a month 3 weeks under cfl then a week under hps. I will then have 9 in at a time under a 600w i average 10oz with autos and my set up so if I hit that with photos which are supposed to be bigger yielders ill be looking at 20oz in 6weeks time as I can start vegging while my autos are growing. That'll be more weed that I can smoke lol allowing me to then just try any auto that takes my fancy as I won't be short of bud

What you think of my idea?

moving that many plants is a PITA....figure 2-3 mins for moving each plant each day....then multiply if by the number of plants you have....it's pretty easy when they are small but gets progressively more trouble as they get bigger...and you will have a small window of time to do this 2 times a day for the entire flowering period...chance of damaging the plants goes up as they get bigger also....figure, with photoperiodic plants, that they will get 2X-3X larger in size after flipping them 12/12...so base your vegging time on that.....you can veg for 4-6 weeks and get some reasonable returns.....or longer if you have more space.

I do this myself and I need to keep them small. The better a shape your foliage stays, the softer it remains and this is needed to reduce handling damage. I don't have a picture right now but I use square pots-4 bamboo stakes one to a corner and some sort of tie around-string or bamboo. This traps the plant and holds it in position during handling. If the top of the plant doesn't stick up above the stakes much that reduces damage too. They then pack nicely in the dark box. The dark box needs an air supply or you'll rot. I use an aquarium pump and lose pack the plants. Some strains I use Bushmaster to stunt stem elongation specially prebloom and final stretch. Keep your numbers modest as it is both a chore and a commitment. A commitment twice a day, every day, day after day. And one day plan it so it all stops and you can get a break-Humboldt growers go on vacation for that short shut down.

I veg my photos for 4-6 weeks but you can do as little as you'd like. A general rule of thumb is that they will nearly double in size during flowering. As far as moving them around goes, it can be a pain, but not too terrible. I would say 15 minutes a day of work.

Peace.

Im thinking to do 18 plants 9 inside at a time in 6.5l pots vegged for 3weeks under a cfl and a week under the 600w hps. Im just waiting to hear more about the yield as i know ill be doing the new fast version strain. If i can hit an oz per a plant ill be happy with that itll give me 18oz lol can stop having arguments with my brother then. It will be abit of a pain but hey no pain no gain as they say and im sure my body will get used too it. I will have to have my times as 6am and 6pm due to work...no life for 6weeks hmmm but for aload of smoke im pretty much game for it. I will take a picture of the area where i plan to build the dark area and draw up a plan see if you guys think its workable.

Kind of like a boxing ring setup for the pot, eh, InHumboldt?

More like the city bus-all right every body out-now every body in-common keep packen-move to the back please-keep packen--Hey Veg Guy, give up the spot under the light for the pregnant lady-did every body get their drinks first? Crap you in back with the PM come on out, sorry everyone. Twice a day like clockwork.

lol what the hell? i must be going mad but i didnt get a word of that haha

Here is some info on the strain i would be doing....as there are breeders on here does this seem possible and make sense? im clueless when it comes to to breeding lol

Feminized and non-autoflowering version of our Green Poison now featuring ultra-fast flowering. This strain is a F1 hybrid resulting from the cross between an elite clone of our appreciated Green Poison and a selected 3rd generation autoflowering strain. This strain is ready to harvest with thick buds all covered of abundant aromatic resin only 6 weeks after the flowering photoperiod begins.
The plants have the appearance of Indica-Sativa hybrids, with an exceptionally vigorous growth, a very fast flowering and large production of flowers. Exquisite taste and aroma with a sweet intense hint of fruit.
This strain is remarkably resistant to fungi in outdoor grows, considering that due to its fast flowering the plant succeeds in anticipating its harvest to the period in which botrytis usually attacks.

Technical Specifications:

Indica/Sativa: 70%/30%
Indoor flowering: 6 weeks
Outdoor harvest: Early September
Indoor yield: 500-600 gr/m2
Outdoor yield: 500-700 gr/plant
