Can some auto's be really slow in flowering?

For reference, I'm using some New York city auto seeds that are apparently about 5 years old and doesn't seem to be a very homogeneous strain. I have 2 very tall, sativa plants, that budded nicely and has one been harvested. Sample of bud before trimming.

There are 12 of short, bushy, large leafed indica looking plants. They are younger but coming along nicely. Dark greens, massive growth. Did some LST, lots cola sites, all is good.

Then there is this.

I did have some records taken down, but got sick, spreadsheet was being weird so I stopped but as best as I can tell, the above plant is the same age as the bud above it as they were planted within a week or so tops.

The other sativa's that the bud came from had narrow leaves, but nothing like these leaves. This plant is all on it's own and looks like a big shaggy dog.

Could it just be a different phenotype expressing itself and taking longer? I did have some nut issues, etc, so it did start flowering later. It's still put on like an inch or so in the past few days. New growth has appeared and seems to be budding well. Is it stunted? Will it recover? Should we get lights and decorate it for Christmas because bud this is not going to ever be?

It's just weird, and looking different than all the other reindeer, I don't know what to make of it and being my first grow, I'm even more confused. lol.

i have seen this myself and to be honest wish i had nipped it in the bud (excuse the pun). very slow, very difficult to recover, very low yield and quality where the end results.
