Hello good buds, this is going to be my first attempt at a grow diary on AFN so if there's anything you want to know or any advice on the strain i'm growing let me know! I've done a few autos before these, mostly Sweet Seeds strains (Black Jack,Fast Bud,S.A.D,) and Easy Ryder by Joint Doctor (there is a pic of my current Easy Ryder on my post in the introductions section). As you can tell by the title of this grow diary i will be growing Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine Autos.

Ok,here's my set-up;

1m x 1m x 1.60m tent (Width/depth/height)
50watt Lightwave T5 flouro until roots show from bottom of peat pellets
400watt hps (Sunmaster dual spectrum bulb) for remainder of grow
15litre round pots
Canna Professional soil
4inch extractor fan & carbon filter
6inch oscillating fan for air movement

I germinate the seeds by soaking them in a glass of tap water for about 18 hours then pop them into peat pellets(soaked in ph 6.5 water). They go into my little seedling tent,in a propagator, lid on,vents totally closed, with a heat pad underneath until they pop their lovely little heads up from the soil, which is where i remove the lid,as below

These popped at about 10am this morning :jump:

So i'll water these when necessary with just water for a few days as the pellets have a small amount of feed in them, then i'll use a bit of feed....

2mls/ltr Vitalink Plant Start
2mls/ltr Hygrozyme(a root conditioner)
1 drop/ltr Superthrive

I have found this combination gives the little ladies a great start, with roots showing from the bottom of the pellets within 4-6 days usually. As soon as i see any sign of roots i put them into 15l pots pre-soaked a couple of days beforehand with the same feed as above, with the addition of one more additive

1ml/ltr Plagron Roots

This stuff,i have found, gives EXPLOSIVE root grow which is the key to maximising your ladies,no?!?! :pimp:

Ok i think that's a pretty good start but if i've missed anything let me know, growing Mary Jane is a fantastic, natural thing to do and i love it!!
I'll give more info on my nutes as i go,by using 15 litre pots i've found that i don't need to water for at least 2 weeks,i just trickle a bit of feed around them for the first few days and then they go themselves! Also,my first Autos were done in 7.5 litre pots, and yielded 1-1 1/2 oz,but by increasing pot size i've doubled the yield to 2 1/2-3 oz oh yeah! (kiss of death or what!!!)

Keep It Green buds :smokebuds:

Ps- they'll be on an 18/6 light cycle

Hi mate,i paid £19.39p for 3 beans, and £2.02p p&p from The Original Sensible Seed Company who are a Spanish based company, previously based in Wales.UK.I also received a free Sugar Mango Ryder Auto freebie :D

I was gonna do the Cream Caramel myself but then Sweet Seeds bring out these 3rd gen seeds so i thoughi'd give them a shot. How are yours getting on? are you doing a grow blog?
cheers dude,Keep It Green

Hi namvet25,i couldn't find too much info on them either except they're a Cream Caramel/Ice Cool hybrid auto. :bong:

DAY 3

Hello good people, here's the latest on my grow.I was surprised and pleased to see that my 2 little ladies were showing roots from the peat pellets YESTERDAY (day 2),this usually takes 4-5 days! So i prepared the pots/soil yesterday and planted the seedlings at 5pm today

securedownload (3).jpgsecuredownload (2).jpg

Normally at this stage i'd put them straight under my 400w hps but my tent is full until the weekend so they'll have to stay under the flouro until then.
I'll continue to water around the peat pellet for a few days until the roots have grown into their new home, and then i won't need to water them for 10-14 days.So that's all for now i think,i'll post again in a few days.

Keep it green :toke:

ps-you'll have to forgive the rubbish quality of my pics but i've only got an i-phone at the mo and it's only 8mp.I'm getting a new camera in the next few days so hopefully i'll be able to get some nice close-ups when the action really starts :jump:

subbed, cream caramel has been at the top of my auto's to try for a long time and now this version is out and it sounds just as tasty! if it can regularly produce the dank like the CC then i'm on this one too! good luck and can't wait to see how she does
