Buzzy Bee's is back at it! Just finished our latest harvest of Nirvana's legendary White Widow and cleared up some space in our sealed grow environment. Soo we will be starting a grow of @Sweet Seeds Green Posion XL! If you can't tell, I'm pretty excited to see what our Spanish/Canadian friends have put together for us.

A little about this strain:
It has been developed through a program of recurrent selection of individuals of high stature of Green Poison Auto® during multiple generations. These seeds produce plants with a height 25% higher than their predecessors, with an equally superior production of flowers and resins.

The aromas and flavors are very pleasant and intense, with sweet and fruity tones, sweet Skunk background and brush strokes reminiscent of arugula and walnuts. Right up our alley!
  • Indica: 56.87%
  • Sativa: 40%
  • Ruderalis: 3.1%
  • THC: 15-20%
  • CBD: 0.07%
  • Indoor yield: 450-600 g/m2
Interesting balance of Indica/Sativa with a stark favoring of THC over CBD. We typically like strains high in both compounds, as we find they compliment eachother well. This strain seems to favor a heavy THC balance which, quite frankly, MANY of our customers enjoy. Here at Buzzy Bee's Gardens, we pride ourselves in maximizing yields utilizing organic methods and ZERO pesticides. Let's see if we can hit the ceiling on yield for these autoflowers!

So, let's plan out this grow!

We will be germinating utilizing the good ol' paper towel method! Tried and True!

Some of us can't tolerate cbd.
If herb is close to, or exceeds1% cbd, it fails to deliver the sleep I use herb for.
CBD is a mild stimulant, and it reduces the thc high and thc's sleepy effects.
Whenever herb seems bad to me, I suspect too much cbd.
That might be the case with a recently harvested Autoseeds SuckerPunch, whose effects seem very weak to me.

Ruderalis is high in cbd, and most auto breeders try to eliminate as much of it as they can to improve the high.
Other breeders have done a poor job of elimination, so their autos are 1% cbd or more.

Ah I am just in time for a front row seat. The best of luck to you. How is the White Widow smoking for you?

The WW is still hanging, but we can't wait to test it out! We utilize a slow, whole plant drying method. We check daily until ready. The branches are still bendy and our dry room smells of grass today, so I expect 4-5 more days before we start the tedious hand trim and jarring for cure.

You're not alone! Many of our customer's prefer THC "only" strains. Quotes bc you and I know there's always some of one or the other. Interestingly enough, we're finding many that enjoy the effects of high CBD high THC strains, even if they are the black sheep among the more experienced crowd. Autoflowers truly have added some interesting quirks to the gene pool, but we're happy to let our girls express themselves so we can enjoy all they have to offer!

Update on the Green Poison: After 48 hours shells look to have popped, but no taproots sticking out yet. We'll give 24 more hours of warmth and darkness. Hopefully we have good shiny white feet tomorrow so we can get these babies into some coco!

Another 24 hours in and only 2/4 taproots BARELY showing. I'm giving another 24 hours before moving to solo cups.

Hopefully I see sprouts soon!
