New Grower Sweet Tooth auto grow in m'backyard!

Wellll, this grow is over! I woke up to a crime scene! LOL They were dug up by a critter, and I'm so glad they were tiny when it happened... Would have made me very sad if they were further along!

Anyway, ordered more auto seeds today and I'll start a new thread when I'm ready to get that going!

Oh no!!! That's why I prefer growing indoors because of the unknown factor outdoors. Sorry to hear. What are you getting for the next seeds?

thats terrible, heart breaking even
yeah you should probably try fense them off or make it harder for critters to get to, its also worth while having some back up seeds

I wish you better luch for your next grow

I ordered 3-gal. smart pots today which should be here next week. The critter probably did me a favor actually, since the weather is already nicer just a few weeks later than starting the last 2 plants - I was just SO excited to get started... hahahaha

This time I can take my time getting the soil mix cooler for the seedlings, starting in solo cups and stacking, etc. I'm going to ask more questions and learn more from you all - like who told me to plant in eggshells? LOL Nobody - I just saw it in a magazine as a fun way to get calcium into the soil when planting veggies so I decided to do it for my seedlings... BAD IDEA! I'm almost positive it's those eggshells that attracted the critter that dug them up... I AM laughing about it now!

when it comes to autos best to skip stacking, just plant directly into the one pot you want to finish in, in hazes latest grow he has some information reguarding root growth and the use of bloom nutes that included scans or rooting sytems of a stacked pot with a solo cup and one planted directly and the one planted directly was far healthier

i saw someone else on here use egg shells and that grow was very slow and stunted

im just a newbie but i am realising the more i read and learn that my original rule becomes more valid and that is just keep it as simple as possible
