Growing in a 30x18x30 tent. 300w old style mars LED, 3 23w LEDs, CO2 bag, and fan in the garage. Lights are on 20/4. Some fairly wide temperature ranges (60's at night to mid to high 90's during the day). This mild winter so far has made it tough to regulate. I grew a nice NL Auto last grow, so overall, I expected the Jack Herer's to do ok. This grow I used Fox Farms happy frogs soil. Used some MG stuff with the NL. I've also fed
trio along with some calmag.
Here is the story.
I started with Jackie1 (J1) germinated on 10/15 and put into a 3gal fabric pot. Took about 10 days before she really came out of the ground. In the meantime, I started Jackie2. She germed and sprouted out of the soil 2 days after J1 did.
Mistakenly, I had them both in the same pot. On day 14, I transplanted J1 to a new pot as she seemed smaller and stunted compared to the quickly growing J2.
I used LST pretty heavily on J2. Around day 22 I mistakenly topped her.
J1 showed pistils on day 28. J2 is just barely showing pistils. She's much lower and compact compared to J2 due to the LST and forced top.
Had some PH issues at 36 (12 days ago) and have flushed both plants twice (4 gallons each first time, 6 gallons each second) and no feedings.
Here are some pictures. J1 looks good flowering with nice pistils. I'm not happy with the droopy clawed leaves but the bud sites look "ok".
J2 on the other hand is barely showing any pistils. Only 2 days behind J1 but no where near the bud growth. Nothing seems to have changed in the past 2 weeks with all the flushing.
They're almost dried out now so I'm going to give them one more day before watering with a feeding tomorrow.
Any ideas why J2 is not flowering much? Anything I should be doing differently?
Thanks for stopping by!
