I bought a DBV in black several months ago. I haven't picked up my pipe or papers since. It's a permanent fixture on my coffee table and is left on most of the time that I'm home. Works like a charm every damn time. Once you learn how to dial the temp for the kind of bud you have, it's a breeze. Sometimes you need more or less heat, but you quickly develop a feel for it. I love it for sessions as all I have to do is grind the herb and use the whip to suck up a bowl. Then just blow it out into a jar and repeat. Makes it easy to vape a ton of stuff easily, without having to scrape out ash from a piece.

Cleaning is easy as cleaning a small pipe. I've been using iso alcohol and salt.

It's simple and very Zen, with a dope engraving of a Buddha. Makes me sad whenever I have to pack it up for "certain" house guests.

I think anybody who grows should have a decent vaporizer. Being able to enjoy the subtle flavors and aromas of your homegrown buds is such a treat.

I haven't checked 7th Floor's site in a while. Wonder if they've got any cool water attachments.

I wish i could still hope my body to tolerate this one or any other electric-type machine, most certainly the three 7th Floor vapes i know (by reputation) inspire genuine respect. The concepts with "obvious" paths always got my attention 1st, the DBV, SSV and LSV don't hide much at all from the customer's view, those who intend to acquire a new device should put these designs high on top of a short list IMO.

Unfortunately, as excellent as it would prove to be if i could handle regular electric-dry tools, even post-vaporisation conditioning won't allow me to fully enjoy them anymore. Well i'm the owner of a venerable HerbalAire v2.1 which is working as expected, though its electric-dry cannabis vapor finally renders me miserable many years after the purchase; by chance i've come to realize that late moisturization performed in water toys (or even my "FogBog"!) doesn't really suffice: it delays the misery state only. By this i mean there's a much smoother consumption method at my reach and it was a possible scenario all along but it needed some tweaking and i'm making good progress with that, at last: Inlet Self-Conditioning, based on a clean butane burning reaction (with H2O and CO2)...

Anyway, it felt so familiar to read about a dedicated table surface.

Ah, the dream! Well, my learning curve had some surprizes in reserve along the path but i'm about to manage with the last few steps. It's just going at the opposite side of the spectrum in terms of time. Hard to explain but a pipe can be appreciated over a relative long period of time without implying it's always in use... Combined to a rocking chair the ritual evolves into something else after a while, then it becomes intreaguing to flirt with the Tolerance threshold, to avoid sudden cannabic variations in the blood stream. Euh... Oh, it makes me sneeze too but i got strong chewing gum that appears to interrupt the reaction anyway. It seems maybe when considered from outside it's me who fails to fit the present-day vaporist market, while from my perspective the concept i need just hasn't been implemented yet!... I've become that restricted.

But that won't stop me from expressing a thumbs up for a 7th Floor, it doesn't matter that it may be out of my access in terms of cannabic experience. The quality of convective mode must be something everyone should try once in their lives i guess, lucky you!
