Hey guys and gals. Yes I know I have been a terrible member lately. I miss you all a lot more than you know. Actually nearing a 4 ear anniversary here. It’s amazing on how fast time moves along.
Im not trying to cause panic or go outside the rules here but I did want to pop in and say I hope everyone is safe and staying sane in this insane time. One thing I find is extremely important to say is I fully understand how life can get to busy, at times to busy to think of things that don’t affect our normal day to day lives. I don’t know if I’m wired differently or if it was my well below poverty level upbringing but I have always enjoyed stashing away a few essentials. Water, food, medication. I find it a bit odd that the people who are the most scared right now are the ones standing in lines at the super market that is a mile long. The time for this was a month or even a year ago. Toilet paper doesn’t go bad last time I checked.
The world as we know it is going to change significantly for the rest of our lives. Here on the East Coast they practically shut everything down. I live close to Foxwoods casino which is the largest casino in the world with roughly 10k employees and they closed the doors for the first time in 20 years. I’m sure many are experiencing somewhat similar situations and some difficult times with businesses temporarily closing. I just hope it all ends soon with the least possible impact on our lives. For me I’m staying away from everyone. Hopefully catching up on messages, emails, lights and last but not least my 2 girls. It doesn’t always work out for everyone but some can hopefully make the most of this shitty situation.
