So then it's time for round 2 and see if I learned something :)

But everything is not quite the same this time but plan to use me more of HPS and so I use 10 liter airpots now :)

So now until I'll top the little ones they're below the led liht..
I do not know how long I dare have them under led light before they start having these cal / mag damage.: (

So today, they're about 3 days old, and one girl has a little deformed leaves
but it does no harm ... she is special and beautiful in my eyes anyways :)

I find feeding cal mag from the start really helps . Good luck BB.

BudBear they are looking good, one of the things that I have found with the LED grows is that sometimes we see the CalMg def when the EC is too low. I have had a few grows where I used 100% LED and used little if no Cal Mg just upped the EC. Just a thought.... Looking great so far!!!

That is a very drastic and extreme topping. I would suggest topping earlier and you can get the same result, without nearly as much stress to your plants. After your second set of full leaves emerges, just pop the tiny growing tip off and they will hardly miss a beat, and you will end up with 4 branches just the same.

yes I know there are probably 1,000 different ways to do this and just as many opinions on how it should be ..:

Got this idea from reading about a guy here on AFN how he did and it worked :)
So now I'm just trying a second time and see if I can get it right :)

But thanks for the tip, maybe you should try it next time :)

Regards BB

Not trying to be critical, I think it will work out for you but I think the amount of stress you cause a plant is related to how much of the plant you damage, percentage wise. You could have removed a very small piece of plant earlier and gotten the same results as you will get by removing over half of the vegetative growth up to this point. I would think that the plant would recover sooner from something like that. Ill post a picture later maybe of a plant that I did the way I described, removed a very small growing tip and ended up with 4 branches that I LST out in each direction.
