whats the real difference between veg and bloom nutes?

sorry to sound like a noob but i was smoking and feeding nutes to my plants n i got thinking whats the difference between the two and what would happen if u used veg nutes during flowering or vice versa?

obviously the NPK is different between the two but i mean its all nutes so if u used veg nutes during flowering would it take away from the bud and just add to the leaves or would just nuthing happen? :cough:

Yes it would take away from your bud. During veg nitrogen is very important for green growth. As the plant progresses it need less nitrogen to survive so feeding veg nutes to flowering plants will likely cause nitrogen toxicity

there is different amounts of N-P-K between the two...veg nutes has mostly N...where as bloom has more P-K...when in bloom it is a bad idea to feed the plant any N because the plant is focused on P-K up take for fruit/flowering...in late bloom plants will be yellow w/ N def...

Are we talking like week 7 full bloom? Cause my plants are at day 34 and have a lot of bud sights where I can make out the purp and actually see the small popcorn sized buds and I gave veg nutes last night..:cough:

rule of thumb is...feed veg nutes until vertical growth has stopped...once vertical growth has stopped the plant is in full bloom and is time to give bloom nutes.

Yea I should have measured all along. I took some measurements today so ill see if they have grown any by tomorrow
