Hi all,
After a break from growing for 16 years I have finally found myself in a position to start again this year, also not to have to deal with the unscrupulous dealers and the rubbish they pass off as 'good stuff'. The idea was originally to grow in the great outdoors but the weather in the UK has been so grim that even with a greenhouse to use, I have now decided to start an indoor grow. Being an indoor novice, I took a look at several of the many forums for ideas and researching the latest techniques available. Well, one thing led to another and the information, grow journals and general enthusiasm I found on this site convinced me that this was the place to be, so here I am!
This is what I am planning, 2'x3'x2' propagation tent with 4 2' T5 tubes, 3'x3'x6' grow tent with a X2 189 LED unit and a 4" fan and carbon filter. I'm going to do soil grows first (seems to be the general advice given here) starting the seeds of in jiffy pots and then using Canna Terra products in 10l airpots. Variety used for the first grow has to be Sweet Seeds Speed Devil#2 as I bought those thinking that I was going to be growing outside or in the greenhouse, obviously my appetite has been whetted by all the great strains that I've seen been grown in the journals but they can come later!
Hopefully I've covered the basics correctly and any help/suggestions will be welcome.

good job I hadn't just gone for it! Hopefully that's my first mistake avoided! I've posted the problem in the new growers forum.
