Hey all any tips for cooling down the tent on hot days and heat waves i am using a ac on high with ice box cooler outside the tent and a bottle of ice water in front of the fan in the tent and the temps are still a little hot ?

in summer i can be a little tricky i have a portable air conditioning unit as i can just let that do its thing are you using a proper aircon if you are that's the best you can do also what extraction are you using in your tent to get the heat out

Im worried about condensation with a extractor tbh

I recently installed dryer vents in the window of the room my tents are in. So now I am venting my hot air outside the house. This has helped a lot!

I have same issue but seem to have cracked it. I am running a 6inch extractor and a 4 inch intake for veg (8inch rhino for bloom)..... I was getting terrible heat issues. I bought an air cooling unit as cant afford air-conditioning and I am changing the ice pack every 4 hours. I am running my lamps 6pm to 12noon and with lamps out I am maintaining 30oC.... still too hot but they seem to be coping well. I bought heat tolerant strain which apparently will be ok to 34oC. With lamps on after 6pm during this heatwave temps have risen to 32oC! I am using SuperThrive and Potsil in my nute mix which helps with stress recovery. I am watering little and often...cool water and I am also using bottled ice infront of the other fan I have other than the air cooler unit....... roll on thunder

I run an 8inch rhino outake fan during bloom with a 6 inch intake fan during bloom, but in Veg this config strips room of humidity, during bloom I switch the 6 inch fan to run as an outake fan and run a 4 inch intake. So I have 3 extract/intake fans and between them I manage the ventilation. The air cooling unit will add humidity to the room but your fan will extract enough that as well as the heat. It can be a bit of a pain changing ice packs etc, but worth it.... luckily we font get too many 34oC days here. Good luck

I run a portable air conditioner, which keeps humidity and temps down, also limits amount of air change so can make up the extra costs with extra yield.
