So been researching, an ive decided im pretty handy so i would like to build a timber redwood vs clone. 640 w fixture. 2 hlg 320 h-c1750 b drivers, 140-150 mm heatsinks with 6 vero 29 v7 cobs. The question i have is which vero 29 cobs do i get? Could anyone point the way? I thank you in advance!

@BigSm0 , @arty zan , @Son of Hobbes could you point me in the right direction? Or tag someone who might know?

So after som serious research, i have compiled a list of components for the build.

2x HLG-320H-c1400 drivers 3 cobs per driver
6x vero 29 BXRC-35E10K0-C-7SE
6x kingbrite 180mm heatsinks predrilled for vero 29
6x thermal pads
18g solid wire red&black
Heatshrink tubing & connectors
4x 3/4”x3/4” x 6’ aluminum L stock
Price for all minus s&h $550

3 cobs per driver wired in series
575w at cobs, 615w from wall. More than enough for a 4x4x80” grow tent!

Update on last post... wife has no confidence in my abilities to build my own light! Says she’d rather have me pay up to be safe... so it’ll either be timber redwood vs or 2 hlg 260xl kits! What she dont know won’t piss her off til they are here. Talking about the kits if i go that direction lol

Kits don't take someone with mechanics hands...
The timber kit I got a couple years back was all color coded. Screw a few things together, plug blue wire into blue connector, red into red, that kinda stuff. My first light I did it all, choosing drivers, matching pieces, etc. That can be a project. But even that, the hard part was deciding on the parts. Assembly was nothin' special.
