New Grower Timer busted- should I worry?

Hey I'm like into week 7, ak 49 at 52cm tall and plenty of buds sites growing by the hour. Swapped light from cfl to 400w hps a week ago but last night my timer broke.
My question- have been growing on a 20 on 4 off cycle but now flipped to 24on(obviously due to timer going loco) will this negatively impact plant in any way??

This same thing just happened to me. What was the outcome of your grow after this? What did you do?

I've had timers break before, and kept my lights on 24 hours while i was getting a replacement.
It's never caused me any problems.
My solution was to buy a timer that was intended and built for growlights. Think it was made by maxi bright and i've never had a problem since. I'm no electrician, but it's a box with a timer on it that allows for more power ooomph (thats not a technical term)

i found the more sativa dom autos (not completely) but sorta do a reveg period when my timers have stuck on , they didnt completely , but seemed to somewhat and made the plants go an extra week-10 days

yes i use cheap timers lol , touch/adjust em once and the buggers stick at on time or off time

Just a word of warning when these cheap timers stick, they actually weld the contact points together which in turn can melt the timer = fire, my mate caught his in time,we were lucky, bought an expensive one which we have 10 yrs on, not worth it buying cheap stuff.This is why you can buy the stuff designated for the job.

Yeah haha, i was kinda replying to heavenly buds and giving a welcome at the same time. ^_^

It's a good question though a merits some of the helpful replies that have been left.
It's a shame nobody got back to the OP 10 months back!
