Tips on seedling raised; CFL too close?

This NL Auto seedling popped a couple of days ago and I had the CFL at about 10" away and I saw a thread where someone said that 3" is more like it so that it won't stretch too much so I put it about 4" away and after about 6 hours the little jagged tips started to point upward.

Does this mean that the light was too close?
Planted in OF with 30% perlite.
Watered a bit yesterday.

No, cfl's can be 3" no light problems. Most likely it's the heat from it. A small fan directed at the cfl should help

...raise it up a few inches, proximity heat is causing this, and the intensity may be too much;seedlings don't want as intense lighting as older plants,..

I ended up just putting it in the tent under a COB 36” away
