Hey guys iv heard that tomorite tomato feed is good for autoflowers. My question is can I use it through the whole grow or should I switch to bloom nutes? Cheers

It's a good question - one that i hope someone with more experience can answer - I use a tomato based fertilizer (not tomorite - but its a generic equivalent) NKP 4.5 / 3.5 / 9 with micro nutrients (seaweed extracts). It's just so much cheaper than specialist BLOOM fertilizers. I generally have 2 grows going in summer (if you can call it that here) one in pots which get a steady watering of a diluted version of the feed - and those in the soil outdoors which get a full feed about every 10-14 days depending on how wet it's been. I also add a teaspoon of Epson Salts every 2nd or 3rd watering which provides a boost for Magnesium.

Is it really worth the prices you pay for specialist bloom feeds when growing outdoors?

Especially if the largest factors are sunlight and night temps, or mould inducing wet warm weather.

Personally I'll just stick to what works for me - if I got really dense buds the chances of getting mould here would probably cancel out any gains in floral mass. I'm happier harvesting looser buds than scrabbling around trying to remove mould.

But I'd be interested to hear other peoples opinions.
