New Grower Too late to top? Early preflower

I have an OG Kush #18 S1 growing, id like to top it so the main colas will grow approz same height as the lower growths. I want an even canopy. But I was wondering if im too late? Picture to follow. But its in early preflower.

its a photo, I wish there was an auto og#18. But it shouldn't be much of a problem if your still in veg. If you started flowering cycle id go back to veg for a week or so to let it recover.

Back to vedge. Cool! How do I do this besides placing back in 24/7 hps light and vedge nutes? So I top and place back in my vedge tent that's it?
