Ok I'm brand new to growing and brand new to this site so I'm sorry if I'm not doing this right but I have a question for more experienced growers. These WW autos are 37 days from seed and they are all over each other in this tent. I don't know what to do because I don't want to take any out, but I also don't want to jepeordize the whole crop by leaving them in there to crowd each other.

So the question is: does it look like too many plants, should I take two or three out?

Ok so you think it may be a little crowded? I've been a little scared to do any defoliation or to mess with them too much in any way because of the things I've read about autos, but this is my first time doing it so I have no experience. If you and other growers recommend it, that's what I'll do.

Thanks for the reply.

Autos are not what they used to be man I forgot who but theres a thread showing various methods with good results. You'll be surprised what they can endure nowadays. Just take some leaves here and there not all at the same time, all in moderation.

I would remove the lower growth, especially little sucker branches, and remove any smaller branches and go for a SOG of central colas.

Your tent is the complete opposite of mine (also auto WW). I have three girls, and I'm potting them all up to five gallon pots, and then potentially seven gallons, because they keep getting rootbound! Your girl with the yellowing leaves looks like she might be rootbound and you may lose a bunch of leaves in the next week or so. What size are your pots? Five gallons?

Also, I'd raise up the shorter plants so they're closer to the light. I'm using little cardboard boxes to even my canopy out.

Ok, good info. I was wondering what to do with the small one. I'll find a box for underneath it. They're in 3 gallon pots in a 3 by 3 tent. I was never expecting them to get so bushy. By trimming the lower branches, do you mean even some of the branches with flowers on them, or just remove some leaves?

Looking good. As mentioned above the main thing here is that you have good air cirulation to prevent rot forming. A little defoliation may help air to circulate better and also allow light to penetrate to the lower parts of the plants.

I wager you're about to lose a bunch of leaves anyway because your plants are just about rootbound. They will self correct in a week or two!

She's about to remove leaves herself. No need to remove any. On my next run, I'm using 7 gallon containers. 3 and 5 simply aren't big enough!

Check my grow, just wrapping up 6 autos in a 3x3 just like you. You will be fine, if you are going to keep all of them trim everything 50% and below. No matter how strong your light it won't pentrate.

Trim everything even bite sites that are low. They won't get enough light to put weight on. The random little buds that get missed go to hash.
