Old Reviews Trimming leafs around buds?

Is trimming around the buds a good idea or is it to much stress on the plant

Removing fan leaves from healthy plants shouldn't be a problem. You don't want to remove the sugar leaves that are close to buds though. Removing the dead leaves of course won't hurt anything, but you've definitely got some sort of health issue going on with those plants. So removing the half yellow, half green fan leaves could cause the issue to spread faster, depending on what the issue is.
 
Any idea what the health issue could be based off of how they look? This is my first grow so I'm kind of struggling. The plants have about a month left and I want them to end as healthy as possible
 
How old are these plants?
