1) Thoroughly rinse all of the activated charcoal in water. Set aside to dry.
2) Cut the humidifier pad at the seam and lay flat on a cutting surface.

My grow box has two 92mm fans in the top. My 'scrubbers' are simply sitting on top, covering the fan openings. If back or side mount is required, they could be adhered using silicon adhesive.

Note: Air flow can be adjusted, if needed, by removing some of the activated charcoal. This will, of course, effect the efficiency of the scrubber.

Came across this while searching Petco's web site. Gonna have to grab some next time I'm there. They claim to absorb kitty liter odors for up to six months! Might be less restrictive on air flow then the activated charcoal pellets.

Booda Dome Charcoal Air Filters @ $3.24/package

  • Two replacement filters for Booda Dome litter box
  • Absorbs litter odors for up to 6 months
  • Safe, natural and non-toxic!

Or this style? Looks to be more 'open celled' than the other one.

Booda Clean Step Litter Box Charcoal Filters @ $2.99/package

Update: With my little 52cfm computer fans, I found these to be over restricting the airflow resulting in higher grow box temps. Removing half the activated charcoal from each one seems to be doing the trick. I'm looking to upgrading these fans to a much higher cfm.

Look for fans with a higher static pressure level

It don't matter really how many cfm's higher you go if you don't have the pressure behind it to push it threw its useless
