I'm about to start my first grow in Coco.
Drip to waste is what I plan on setting up.

So while in the grow shop, I asked for good bacteria to add to the feed and/or H202 (peroxyde).

He proposed using UC Roots as a better approach.
In doing a little research afterwards, I see that the UC Roots is a very good product, but renders the feed and medium sterile.

So if you were to propose a myco to add instead of going sterile, that would be my preference.

Thoughts or advice folks?
Cheers,

UC roots is a great product in hydro. In coco I think we can get away without it. I use EM-1 seems to be working well.

For sterile, UC roots or similar products like Dutch Master Zone will work.

H202 is not powerful enough and doesn't last long enough.

Many people use straight bleach or pool shock, but you would need to do some research on how much to dilute it and how often to apply it. One member here does 1ml clorox per 10 gallons of water
applied daily with good results.

I use dutch master zone every 4 days per the bottle instructions and it keeps everything clean. No algae in my flood tables.

Hmm, I was kinna expecting a more bio / enviro response like...stay away from that $H*T....use mycoenzybiodingdong instead.
Interesting to say the least..

Neither option is wrong really, though there are zealots in either camp.

In coco you can go either way. I like the simplicity of sterile but I grow in clay pebbles or rockwool so a little different.

I'm sure a beneficials user will stop by ;)

You could ask @slowandeasy , he does a lot of coco and has experience with beneficials.
