Hi all. This year I've decided to start a guerilla grow. After a decent summer last year I thought it might be worth a shot, I've bought five super cali haze super auto's from attitude with a few freebies! I've bought five 18l square pots from a local hydro store and two 50l bags of plagrons bat mix. I will be starting the seeds indoors at the start of may and I'm hoping to put them outdoors after 3-4 weeks. I have somewhere low key that will get a decent ammount of sunshine so I'm hoping this all goes to plan.

The plants will be staying in the 18l airpots throughout the grow. I plan on burying them level with the ground. I will also be feeding the following nutes. Bio bizz Grow, Bio Bizz Heaven, Bio Bizz Bloom and Bio bizz Top-Max.

This is my first time growing outdoors (besides from a greenhouse grow) so any tips or if I've missed any info please feel free to chime in. Trying to get as much info soaked up before the big start :coffee2:

Best of luck mate... You will want to start the seeds in something other than the bat mix...its quite hot..:Sharing One:

Thanks for the reply duggy. Luckily I haven't opened it yet so I can still take it back and swap it. Should I swap it for a light mix like plagrons light mix or bio bizz light mix. It was actually the guy at the store who recommended the bat mix. He said it would feed the plant without having to feed too much nutes. I was weary of buying it myself to be honest but will deffinately swap it :tiphat: Thanks bro

The bat mix is definitely too hot to start the seeds in... You can likely add the bat mix into the holes dug outside to put the pots in and use light mix in the pots. Someone with outdoor experience will drop by and have you set in no time...:Sharing One:

Good luck with the grow bro, id germinate them now if its possible ? I started mine last year in may and it was tight at the end, they didnt like september !
Maybe bury the bottom half of the pots this will help against insects and the like - dont forget the slug pellets too.
If you pre dig the holes now you could stick in some rootgrow too, getting any physical work done before the midgies and mozzies hatch is a bonus too.

Thanks for dropping by maffro! Thanks for the heads up mate. Have dropped the seeds into soak today so hopefully they will finish just short of sept! Think i'm going to try get some chicken wire to put around them too! will get slug pellets also nearer the time! I have thought about digging the holes but really want to go there as little as possible. hoping not to go more than once a week or at most every 4-5 days

Do not feed them anything until they show signs of needing it go with a neutral grow medium like sunshine mix or pro mix they are just peat moss with perlite and vermiculite. Don't worry to much about grow solution with autos. And the first few feeding a at eighth to a quater strength plant directly into the container you plan on growing in autos will lose some weight if transplanted IMO I hope some of this helps. I go with advance nutrients myself I love there TEA. When I said grow solution I ment vegging phase on autos most of them go into bud so fast that vegging solution is not really needed. But still one feed will still be needed but not much more than that. Use 40 litre grow bags that should allow you five days between watering. I know that seems like alot of soil 40 litre but these super autos need to grow huge root balls to achieve maximum weight and I a perfect grow should never go dry that is not good from my experience a thirsty big budding plant can go four days then needs a healthy drink

Nice to see you gearing up for the outdoors mate.

Iv got a lovely spot my self, got the spot 'cooking' at the moment. I have just started in 1L pots:
Purple Trainwreck
Dark Star
Green Crack
Auto Blue Mazar
Auto Durban Poison

Subbed.

Hey man its a good choice to stay with light mix cause this strain is a hardcore sativa and tends to finish at 120+. mine were finished between 130-150days if i remember right and if u stay with a lightly fertilized mix they are forced to push their bloom phase wich is necessary to finish those plants in colder climate ;) i would also dig some holes for the airpots cause they dry out fast and u create a barrier against some slugs and other predators of canna :) good luck!
