Harvest & Curing Use boveda packs during first week of cure ?

Hey guys ,

First time grower here... I’ve harvested 1.69oz’s of Blue Cheese. Do I use the Boveda packs during the first week? Or do I wait until the second week?

Need help..

Get a hygrometer to monitor the humidity in the jars, at least in one jar per each plant. Those things are cheap and go for like 5/$10 on eBay.

Add the bóveda as needed. I do use them for longer storage. I.e. over several weeks.

Boveda is great for restoring moisture to an overdry crop, or for shelf stability for storage, but it is not for use during the early cure phase. Keep going for another 2-3 weeks then assess if your product needs added moisture.

Do I use the Boveda packs during the first week?

Drying for approx. 5-7 days, and when the stems have a nice snap sound, you can jar and use Boveda pack. Burp once per day with Boveda. pack.
