New Grower using high N nutes the entire grow

I was looking at my buds today hoping they will get taller so its more like one big bud all the way up the main stem. I know that buds bulk up from P and K but if I kept adding high N nutes while in the final stages of growth such as grow big, would it help if I did it in the correct amount?
My reason for thinking this is because since autos continue veg growth while flowering then maybe it never really stops completely. At least in the buds.
Has anyone tried this? If not I think I will on my next grow

veg growth is leaves and stem...not bud/fruit

I know veg growth is leaf and stem but I figure since the buds have leaf in them and grow around stems that maybe it would help. also I was thinking it could help lengthen the life of the plant to give the buds more time to grow

personally i think you will confuse the plant...but i would be interested to see a side by side.

I normally never add veg nutes during flowering because flower nutes have enough nit to carry it through the flower stage.That being said,I did just add a little nitrogen to one of my girls that are 55 days old and was getting a little pale green. After two days she greened up nicely and is doing well. Unless you have the same problem I would stick with the flower nutes that should contain enough nitrogen to get you through your grow.

Excess nitrogen in the plant at harvest tastes nasty in the finished smoke...that's why with autoflowers the idea is to try to get the veg. conditions perfect in the first few weeks so you can back off the N nutes into flowering and let the plant finish off nice and yellow.

I don't follow these instructions personally but wizard one of the moderators and also the JEM breeder put in her jem post she gives 50%veg nutes the whole plants life. I'd say as long as u flush properly it should taste fine. But then again I stop giving N once I see the vertical growth stops completely. Which it will stop no matter what nutes you feed.. even though the stem stops growing when veg stops after a week it'll get taller by the huge bud.

If you are looking for better stem / leaf structure maybe adding a silica product could help. I use biobizz and they recommend using the grow all the way through.

My main goal in adding N the entire time would be to help prevnt the yellowing of leaves and prolong the life of the plant so the buds have more time to grow. Would silica help with that?
This is all just a theory but I want to give the plant an extra 1 - 2 weeks so if the plant isn't yellowing and dieing by day 60 maybe the buds will swell more and the trichs won't amber as fast.
