Is that ambient temps??... What are your temps lights on??.. I run all year round but have 2 tents.. 1 runs HPS and the extraction blows into the other LED tent.. Current temps are a steady 26c in both tents...

If i was you and the temps lights on is ok, then i'd run the lights @ 20/4 which i did for 3 uk winters... 4hrs at cold temps will slow them a little and rough guess you will lose 25% of your yeild... My ambient temps lights of have been as low as +1c and they survived... Good luck mate and take advantage of this milder weather we are having... :)

thanks for the info guys. I will put my lights on tonight and check out the temp after they have been on for a few hours if temps r still low I may well invest in a tubular heater to see if it helps.
Thanks again for your advice

I run an outdoor grow box in the winter using LEDs. I use a variable speed fan controller that automatically speeds up or slows down the exhaust fan to maintain the set temperature. It does a good job of keeping the heat from the LEDs in while still allowing for some air exchange. I also use a small space heater on a timer so it only comes on during lights out. Here's the controller I use, maybe you can find something similar in the UK. http://www.qcsupply.com/commercial-...mount-variable-speed-controller-110-volt.html. I believe they also make it in 220 volt.

Oh dear I been running some photos started outside now in box under 150w hps, struggling to keep temps up as no control at the min and it hadn't occurred to me till I read this thread that that they appear to have slowed to almost stopped. Its mid November and I only have white pistils. :(

I have boxed in a portion of my loft. Not very much but I have insulated it with 1" polystyrine and am running 1x900w 1x300w and 3x150w LED's. I have to keep a crack in the door to make sure it doesnt over heat but not enough to give away a heat signature. Been running for a fair few years now with no probs. Sorry about the spelling.
