Problem: Can not vent air cooled hood out wall of house or into the attic.

Solution: I went to Home Depot, got a particle board cut to size over the window, and have enough room to nail the board onto the trim. I than got a vent collar (6") and traced outline on the middle of the board. Used a jig saw to cut the hole out (first time using one, lucky I didn't cut nothing I wasn't suppose to, including myself... ) I than too the collar and inserted it through the hole. I need to use tin clippers to length the folds on the back of vent collar... I than hammered the collar folds to back of the board.

Next on the project (doh shoulda done it before hand, paint the board either white or black to make less inconspicuous... Than will use ac foam to seal up the gaps...

Problem Solves

some have been known to cut two holes one high to exit one low to draw fresh from cover fresh air w/ a piece of hospital grade filter to reduce introduction of mold spores and other pests and tada extra fresh air for the ladies
especially if window is already needing to be opened
even known to use a window ac unit and just blow through the ducting can even move temp probe of some ac units to light and the ac only heavy cycles when it needs to and can in line an inducer fan if extra flow is needed :)
have seen a situation where only the shell of a window ac was used to hide the fact that the window was open all the time:)
and you can also build a box off the board and connect ducting through the box to avoid light from direct line through
but every angle used decreases air flow accordingly so it really depends but in some situations a lot of light beams through the exit ducting so it at times is needed
you will see a nice increase in your ladies from that for sure it will induce a draft to the room always exchanging air for you
