Has anyone heard of or used this ? It was in a email ad I got from Boveda, and was wondering if anyone had heard of or used this Vivi for curing ? It says it takes it from weeks to 10 days with a jar and no burping. One of those " if it sounds to good " type things. Would love to hear any comments from the community on this or anyone who's used it. It's not overly expensive to try out but I'd still rather hear from you guys before plunking down $20. I had posted this in the chat section also. If it works beats the heck out of those machines from Cannatrol and the one coming from Vivosun, $20 compared to $1000, or more.

I would at least say it’s yet unproven….although…..

No, It's $17.99 + shipping for a 4 pack if you don't have a coupon. Supposedly each pack is good for 3-12 oz.. I'm like you, I tend to call BS on something like this, but Bovida is a big name in the humidity packs, and tbh, the only ones I've ever used that actually worked and did what they were supposed to do. Anywho, there's a short video on YT that shows how they're supposed to work. Just wondering if anyone on here might have tried them yet.

I mean, they’re worth a shot then, I suppose. They’ve only been out like a week, so I’m doubtful you’ll find anyone that’s used them fully yet.

As an alternative, check out grove bags, if you haven’t yet. Lotsa folks swear by them… :pass:

You gotta burp jars. Theres no buts about it. After the dry there is still a lot of chlorophyll to off gas and if that gas ain't going anywhere its going right back into the buds sealing that hay/grass taste right into the buds. The first weeks or 2 is when you should be burping the most. A couple times a day for the 4 days to a week depending on the relative moisture still trapped in the center of buds and stems.

This is my feeling, also. Not just chlorophyll, but co2, and just stagnant moist air…. We’ve been fooled by boveda before   :pass:

I only throw a boveda in if I drop below 54% rh in the jar just to keep it from getting crumbly. I still have yet to try out grove bags to @Oldfartnoclue58 if you wanna try those out theres no burping requirements

Thanks for the reps
