not sure where I should have posted this , but any way , I am getting 5 odd litres a day at the moment from my dehumidifier , PH 6.8 - PPM 14 , where I live there is zero pollution , so would it be ok to water the plants with , also I can run a pipe direct to a clean drum to store the water . ?

i use mine with some tap water brv :pass: Peace Kudo.jpg

Mix the dehumidifier water with tap water so you get a little something in there to help buffer your pH. When I used straight dehumidifier water, my pH would swing wildly.

Hey guys I would seriously reconsider using dehumidifier water besause it is considered "technical".
(Not to be used for drinking or watering fruits or vegetables!)
From techincal point of view, dehumidifier is an just an expensive fridge X vent with hygrostat.
It was not planned for these to produce drinkable water so the condesation element is made from cheep and from basically unknown alloy.
We all know here that water is a solvent and what will be in your water depends back to your dehumidifiers condensation element.

Agree, water from a condenser can/will pick up unknown good/nasty stuff. My condensed water from the tumble drier reeks of soap/softener as an example.

Take your chances Gentlemen........
