Grow Mediums Water on leaves that contains nutrients

Hi everybody, I'm a newbie grower and I think I might have doing something wrong in the past few weeks.
First of all I have to say that my plants are 6 weeks old now and they started to bloom, I can see on top and in some branches they have some kind of white small branches, I guess those are the buds.
I have 2 questions:
[HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is it ok to spray water on top of buds that contains nutrients or can that make weed poisoned to smoke?
[HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] I read online that after the 9th week I should water the plants using only PHed water is that correct?
I hope you guys can help me to figure out that, because I'm very confused.

You're in the hydro section, so assuming that's how you're growing? At 6 weeks you should be well into mature plants in full bloom. XCan you post some pic's?
1- not a good idea. When the lights come on it will blister your plants. Many growers think misting helps but you really don't need to do that.
2- another fallacy. Practically everyone used to flush (use water only for the last 1-2 weeks of a plant's life, but more current wisdom has put an end to that. Not needed. There is nothing wrong with just topping off your reservoir with pH'ed water for the last couple of weeks, because the buds eat less at the end of their life. But you don't have to do that.

I wouldnt spray once buds present for risk of mould...
You can give plain water for the last week to allow the plant to consume whats left in the leaves..not actually a flush...

Hi thanks for the reply, first of all I have to say sorry to everyone because I didn't realized that this is the hydroponic section of the forum. I hope I won't get banned because of this mistake. I'm deeply sorry.
My plants are growing in a pot with soil.
Thanks for your suggestions I won't misting them anymore, by the way does that apply even for vegetative stage?
About the second point of your reply I have to say that at the moment the plants are 7 weeks old, how do I determine when only 1 or 2 weeks are left?
Your suggestion is to adjust only the ph of the water (maybe 6.0) and water them only with that? without any nutrients is that correct?
Sorry this is my first time and I have no experience in this. For the picture I would prefer to avoid to post any because in my country is not legal to own plants.

@WeedNoob you won't get banned. We might sneak over & drink all your beer, smoke all your weed and molest your girl friends, but you won't get banned.
Soil pH is higher than hydro - for dirt you should stay within 6.3 to 7.0; I like to keep it a little less range of 6.5 to 6.8.
Misting makes you feel better than the plant, so yes, I would not do it during veg either. If you have to raise humidity, put an airstone in a container of water inside your grow area and bubble away. Or wet a towel and hang it inside your grow area. That should provide enough humidity that won't hurt your plant.
Your plants are 7 weeks old; how do you know when only one to two weeks left?
The plant's buds will thicken, and the pistils (fine white hairs growing out of the buds) will start dying off, turning dry & brown or orange. All the fan leaves will die, and most of the fine finger / sugar leaves growing directly out of the buds will begin to die as well. Final step is to get a small handheld microscope (12 - 15 USD) to examine the colors of the trichromes (crystals) on the buds. An immature plant will have all clear trichromes. As it comes close to harvest they will turn cloudy in color. As 5 - 10% of them turn amber, the plant is ready to harvest.

Yeah, I take a day off occasionally, sometimes a week, but I always find myself wandering back here to make sure I don't miss anything.
But really the trichrome color thing is hard to photograph without more costly equipment. But this is an example of what you'll be looking for under an inexpensive hand held:

There are some microscope / cameras on the market, made in China, but really they are of very limited use & I'm not sure I would ever buy one. Hand held microscopes are a different story - if you shop carefully you can find these for $10-15 USD. Something like this:

Tomorrow my plant will be 8 weeks old, only 2 weeks are left so I will just wanter it with ph'd water and I will keep an eye on its trichome, I will post some pics asap.
