New Grower Watering little often or watering more less often

Wow appreciate all this valuable information. Good to get everyone's view on this. I know there's no one rule fits all strategy for these plants so I do tend to go by the way the plants look and how dry the medium feels.

I try as much as possible to treat them as individuals but there are times when I have to go to work or go out and its just convenient to water them at the same time with the same amount of everything. My environment is quite constant too with no major drops or increases in temp or humidity unless I change them. I'm also quite lucky that I have planted same strains that seem to be the same phenotype too so they mirror each other with very slight differences.

Thanks guys for your input. Watering isn't rocket science but if you just follow the basics you will be fine.Experience wll also help, and when and if you change soil mixes watering will also change. You will learn as you go just like every thing else

Just another thought. If you are on top of it; your plants will not suffer if they go a short time w/o water. Cannabis is a very hearty plant and they can tolerate a dry soil. I was working 13 hours a day and my attention to my current grow was a look see type of situation. I didn't water on the 2nd day as usual and when I got home to check on the latter of the 3rd day; they wilted a lot. I just bottom fed the plant until she drank up all the water she could take. Within an hour she was back to normal. Then when she was thirsty again I did the wet/dry cycle again.

Best of luck and K.I.S.S

got this advice from BRIMAN :)

" Watering- I would water your pot, until you see a little water coming out the bottom and note how many litres it was. Lift the pot after you water to feel the weight of it. Wait a few days and lift it again, If the pot feels light, time to water again. This method is the best I have found to not over water your plants "

GOODLUCK :)

Oh definitely. Over watering can be hard to recover from but under watering well as soon as you water them after 12 hours or so they're all perked up and looking healthy again. So I'm with you on that one.

Wonder what happens to a plant in the wild if it doesn't rain for a week, or more......
