Hello folks, first time grower here and thanks for all previous advice

I am heading into week 12 since germination but am becoming a bit overwhelmed with info on trichs, pistils and the best way to tell readiness to chop.

I have a Lupe and if I am honest with my bloody eyesight I am struggling lol leafs are dropping, smell is crazy, so I have attached a couple of pics for a bit of guidance. Any help appreciated thanks

I still see white pistils, so probably a little while to grow. When the trichomes are all cloudy that will give you a more up type high and trichomes with a lot of amber will be more of a couch-lock type high. I use a usb cam and can see my trichomes very well.

Thank you :)

I've used my cell camera to take pics then enlarge them to check trichs which helps, I've also got a usb microscope that makes it really easy to check how things are going.

Harvesting is not an exact science, and that's why there's so much confusion. It's more like the game of horseshoes, where close counts.
I'd guess that a panel of experienced growers would disagree on whether you are ready to harvest.
When in doubt, harvest some.
Whatever you do from here will probably be fine.
