I'm no doctor although I play one on TV............that white film looks almost like mold or fungus and/or looks like nutes got splashed on her. Possible nute splash?

Thanks Munch. No nutes used, only compost tea so far, other 38 seedlings are fine. It's not a good pic, my cameras crap but it is basically looks cell necrosis on those brown parts, basically partially dead leaf, very dried out looking. I dont think its a fungi, but I'll have a look with the loupe in the AM.

:smoking:Hi Vas'- I'm not sure either,..looks like some sort of physical damage done when younger, and as the tissues grow around the dead zones, it causes shape distortion... was it outside, and got water/tea splashed on it, in direct sunlight? Lensing burn is one thing that popped into my head-- just a toss-out there guess! That damage isn't a defc./toxicity symptom, and it doesn't look bug related either,... if the new growth is fine, then no worries! :cheers:

Ah ha, I think thats it Waira, that makes sense because the new growth is fine, we've had some patchy weather... rain, then some strong sun so I reckon your're on the money (as usual ! ). I knew it wasn't a toxin / def problem..that would be tragic at this stage LOL.
:thanks::pass:

Thanks for the rep Waira. yeah was a weird one alright,am hopefully gonna have a shade house built for my next auto grow because the seedlings would need to cope with our mid summer sun, and they simply wont without a shadehouse lol, also good stealth cover for the flying pig patrols in autumn ! I thought I'll get away with no cover for this grow as it's only early spring, this lot will be all grown up before it heats up here. again thanks brother
:thumbsup:.

The shape of the damage is pretty similar on both leaves so the damage was done just as those leaves were opening up. I usually let seedlings get bigger before we head out into the bush because of my short season. This also presents increased risks and physical effort when carrying boxes of babies for kilometers. You would only need to shade during the early seedling stage then your plants adapt to high light conditions very quickly once they take off. Thank god no ones doing aerial patrols around here (at least not looking for cannabis). No problems right, I'm hoping for kilos out of this grow.
