I have heard that new guidelines have been introduced for cannabis cultivation. What is the general opinion of the safe maximum quantity of cannabis plants to grow indoors?

I have heard that 9 plants or less is a 100% pass and you can push it up to 28 plants so long as you don't have a criminal record and you can claim it all as personal weed and that it is your first time growing.

Does that sound right?

Not that I don't trust what my friend has been telling me, I just want a bit of a wider perspective to see what people say.

I will Google it and see what comes up in the mean time.

I have been reading this guide to sentences for growing cannabis and it pretty much confirms that 9 plants is good and 28 is the benchmark for people with no record.

That pretty much clarifies that you can grow 29 plant and get no prison time for it..
