On Wednesday I switched the blue dream and Vanilla kush to week 2 nutes. Both are at 200PPM, PH of 5.9 Res Temp at 73f. It seems like the Blue Dream is still a bit light on color and that spot showed up this morning on it. It is growing really well. The Vanilla Kush seems to be getting a slight leaf curl up and the brown spots getting worst but has not spread to other leaves.

The room temp is 72f

Is this a deficiency? Rust Mold? How do you even tell the difference between the two

Your temps and pH looks good. To me it looks like they are hungry. That discoloration on the leaves are early signs of a phosphorus deficiency. Coupled with the overall light green color I'd suggest you up the strength of your nutrients a bit. If you're used to growing and feeding autos, keep in mind that photos can tolerate about double the nutrient strength of what autos can.

Last night i did a res change on the blue dream, and moved it into week 3 nutes, that put the PPMs up into the 280 to 290 area, After work i will do the same to the vanilla kush. I hope this stops the brown spotting. I was so worried that it could possibly be a rust fungus. I knew the most likely cause was defincent, but i needed some others input as to not jump to conclusions and make a problem worst.

Yea A4 i calibrate my ph meter every few days just to make sure its on point.

Thank you all for your input!

the vanilla kush is calcium def. that's just my opinion

No, not a calcium deficiency. First pic is calcium, second is phosphorus.

So Muddy... do you think the corrections i made last night were a step in the right direction?

I think so. Just watch your pH and PPM over the next couple days. If the pH rises and PPM drops, they are still underfed.

Update! Sunday night i upped the PPM's on the blue dream during the res change to 280PPM, she is still putting out brown spots!!!! this plant is only 2 weeks old, she grows fast! THis morning i added another 1 1/2 mls of cali magic to the res..... Should i move onto the next week of feeding?

Anyone have experience with this well known strain? is she a heavy feeder cause it sure seems that way. PPM's have not dropped since i did the res change on her. But continues to put out brown spotting.

Here is something i have thought about, i do have epsom salt, would it be advisable to throw about 1 teaspoon of epson salt into bucket?

How big are your roots? Are they into the water yet? Also, what were they started in, rock wool?
