So my current Lowryder 2 grow is overgrowing my small grow space its only 2ft x 2ft. When you look at my plants there is an obvious star of the show here and she has been pollenated by a male of the same pedigree. The other two females for some reason grew super bushy almost like I topped them but I didn't and are growing airy, whispy, leafy small buds on them. My really nice female is packing on the buds and will be growing seeds soon. The nice female is large enough to fill the space by herself but I will need to get rid of the other females. I dont want to do this but maybe I should give the nice female room to stretch out and really pack some buds on. The plants are 43 days old so look at the pics please..

They all look real nice so I would leave them and maybe thin out some and remove a few branches to give them more room.

wouldn't removing branches diminish yield? they use fan leaves as stored energy when flowering, if you remove healthy leaves you are actively stressing and stopping her for filling her potential, tucking is a lot less stress on her, just a thought, peace:smokeit:

With these plants though, two of them are diminished yield already. What if I thin those two out and let the one with production have more room. Whatever I get of the other two is just a bonus?

its up to you, i personally wouldnt be cutting any green leaves off it, if they are already small i would give them chance before cutting anything, its up to you, you might not make up for what you loose by making more space.

The plants are by no means small, they are 24 inches tall and stuffed against the walls and completely growing into each other. I have nothing else to blame this on other than genetics with those bushy plants. My temp is 77F degrees, Humidity is 47%, I have a ton of air flow for that space, obviously they are all healthy and liking what Im feeding them. Im just kinda stumped here.. That single female is 26 inches tall and if I take her away from that wall she will be 24 inches wide. This is going to be huge for a LR#2 plant.

I really am thinking of just giving the whole space to the single plant, the genetics dont lie and giving her that amount of space could increase my yield because of her bud production..

Some say it will make u lose yeild, I've also read that fan leave do not help when plants are flowering its all about how much light u get to the actual nodes, but I've seen people yield pretty good even tho they removed braches or fan leaves I really think it depends on the strain how well it responds to abuse.

I can understand that, very good point. I dont want to touch anything on that good looking lady I have, the other two are obviously crap for genetics. If I cut them I could also risk stressing them and having them herm. When I built this space to grow i was only seeing one good sized plant growing anyways. I think Im going to thin out the bad genes and just rock that untouched single female!
